Premarital & Couples Educational Group:
Set your marriage up for success

Preparing for marriage isn’t always about fixing a problem– it’s about setting up a relationship to last a lifetime. Discover how to have a healthy transition from one stage of a relationship to another. Join the Shoutout™ Premarital & Couples Educational Group and learn from experts in the field of marriage and family therapy on how to communicate your needs and create a healthy foundation to a successful marriage. This is your opportunity to explore couples coaching that is not affiliated with a specific religion or faith.

Shoutout™ is an easy-to-use digital health platform that connects you to a world of support and education. Our Masters Level therapists, coaches, educators, and supportive peers will help you and your loved one build the foundation for a successful marriage.

During this five-week educational course, you’ll learn how to:

Create a happy marriage while also maintaining a strong sense of self
Build confidence and bring your best qualities to the table through identifying relational strengths
Keep yourself and your relationship happy and productive by learning how to tackle future bumps in the road
Construct a new family system while highlighting each person's strengths
Keep the lines of communication open by exploring different communication styles and tools to reconcile differences

Most importantly, you’ll learn how to create a map that combines the experience of culture, personal backgrounds, religion, expectations, and future intentions into your new family system.

Wendy Elliott, MFT

Wendy earned her Master’s degree at Drexel University in Family Therapy and is a Family Specialist. During her schooling, she completed her Master’s level internships in School Based Mental Health/Family Therapy and Family Therapy. Wendy’s interest in teaching, food, and sustainable agriculture influences her philosophy of therapy. She believes that life is being lived in the here and now. Clients that engage in therapy don’t need to wait until life is “better” or “changed”, to live their lives in a meaningful way. A person’s life is created through relationships built and maintained every minute of every day. Change occurs in the midst of these relationships and those life experiences. Giving hope for the PRESENT is paramount to her work.
